# Account FAQ

> Common questions about wallets, onboarding, and profile setup.

  <Accordion title="Which wallets are supported?">
    Faction Trade supports MetaMask, Coinbase Wallet, WalletConnect-compatible wallets, and Privy embedded wallets (email login). Any Ethereum-compatible wallet should work through the Privy authentication layer.

  <Accordion title="Can I change my username?">
    Yes. Go to **Profile > Appearance** and edit your username. The app checks availability in real time. Changes take effect immediately across the platform.

  <Accordion title="Can I change my avatar?">
    Yes. Go to **Profile > Appearance** and select a new avatar from the 12 preset pixel art options. The change applies immediately.

  <Accordion title="Can I use multiple wallets?">
    Each Faction Trade account is linked to one wallet address. To use a different wallet, you would need a separate account.
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="How do I disconnect my wallet?">
    Click your profile avatar in the top-right corner and select **Logout** from the menu. This disconnects your wallet and signs you out.

  <Accordion title="Is my data stored on-chain?">
    Your trades execute on Hyperliquid's on-chain order book. Your profile data (username, avatar, points, chat messages) is stored off-chain on Faction Trade's servers.

  <Accordion title="I lost access to my wallet. What do I do?">
    Faction Trade does not have access to your wallet or private keys. You will need to recover your wallet through your wallet provider's recovery process (seed phrase, backup, etc.). Once you regain wallet access, you can log back in to Faction Trade — your account will still be there.

  <Accordion title="How do I deposit funds?">
    Click the **Deposit** button in the navigation bar. You will need to bridge funds to Hyperliquid L1. Follow the instructions in the deposit flow to transfer USDC from your wallet.
