# Interface overview

> A quick tour of the Faction Trade layout: trading terminal, social hub, and profile.

Faction Trade has three main sections accessible from the navigation bar at the top of the screen.

## Navigation bar

The top bar includes:

* **Logo** — click to return home
* **Nav links** — Home, Trade, Social
* **Search** — press `Cmd + K` to search the app
* **Wallet info** — your username, avatar, and portfolio balance (USDC)
* **Deposit button** — quick access to fund your account

## Trade page

The trading terminal is where you execute trades on Hyperliquid perpetual markets.

| Section         | Location   | What it does                                                                                      |
| --------------- | ---------- | ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| Asset selector  | Top bar    | Choose which asset to trade, view mark price, 24H change, volume, open interest, and funding rate |
| Order book      | Center     | Real-time bid/ask depth with spread and recent trades                                             |
| Trade panel     | Right side | Place orders — set direction, order type, size, leverage, and TP/SL                               |
| Positions panel | Bottom     | View open positions, balances, open orders, trade history, and order history                      |

## Social page

The social hub is a real-time chat system with rank-gated channels.

* **Channel sidebar** — lists all available channels with lock icons on rank-restricted ones
* **Chat window** — messages appear in real time with usernames, avatars, and rank badges
* **Message input** — type and send messages to the active channel

## Profile

Your profile is accessible from the user menu in the top-right corner. It opens as a dialog with tabs:

* **Rank** — current rank, progress to next tier, monthly challenges
* **Performance** — PnL, volume, trade count, win rate charts
* **Clan** — clan features (coming soon)
* **Appearance** — change username and avatar
* **Settings** — notification and privacy preferences (coming soon)
