# Rank tiers

> All six rank tiers from Rookie to Champion with point thresholds and unlocks.

There are six rank tiers in Faction Trade. Your rank is determined by your total lifetime points — the more you trade and engage, the higher you climb.

## Tier breakdown

### Tier 0 — Rookie

**Points required:** 0

Your starting rank. You have access to the core platform: trading, General chat, and Trading Chat channel.

### Tier 1 — Bronze Trader

**Points required:** 500

Unlocks the **Signals & Alerts** channel where community members share trading signals and market alerts.

### Tier 2 — Silver Trader

**Points required:** 5,000

Unlocks the **Strategies** channel for in-depth strategy discussion and idea exchange with mid-tier traders.

### Tier 3 — Gold Trader

**Points required:** 25,000

Unlocks the **Pro Lounge** — a channel reserved for experienced traders with proven track records.

### Tier 4 — Diamond Trader

**Points required:** 100,000

Unlocks the **Elite Desk** channel and grants you the **Verified Trader** badge, visible next to your name in chat and on your profile.

### Tier 5 — Champion

**Points required:** 500,000

The highest rank. Unlocks the exclusive **Top Traders Only** channel, grants the **Legend** badge, and enables a **custom username color** to stand out across the platform.

## Rank badges

Each tier has a unique badge that displays next to your username in chat and on your profile. Badges are visible to all other traders and are a quick indicator of your experience level.

## How progression works

Points are **cumulative and permanent**. Your rank reflects your total lifetime points across all categories (social, volume, and PnL). You do not lose rank — once you reach a tier, you keep it.
